Meiden die rijden
A Rotterdam-based, social biking group that primarily focuses on casual bike rides where everyone is welcome. It's not about speed, having top-of-the-line bikes, or covering long distances. The main focus is on being social, inclusive, enjoyable, communal, and creating a nice vibe.
For our cycling group, I design the weekly (organic) social posts, write captions, manage the social media channels, and organize the events we host, in addition to our weekly social rides.
Before our weekly rides, we post an announcement post on Instagram (both on our feed and in Stories). Each ride and social post has its own unique style. We intentionally play with randomness and a variety of colors to prevent poster blindness among the audience and encourage them to join.
